Prayer for the Jubilee of
Saint Laurence
Father,
Lord of heaven and earth,
who in your infinite love
you gave us your only Son
who was made man by the power
of the Holy Spirit
in the womb of the Virgin Mary,
to you our praise and thanksgiving are due.
Son of God, Jesus Christ
who through the mystery of your death and resurrection
have saved mankind and remained present in the Church
through your sacrament, give us that we may listen to
your Word with faith and fruitfully participate in the holy
Eucharist.
Holy Spirit,
Love of the Father and the Son,
who give to those who believe
the strength to live the Gospel
and who have raised in your Church holy disciples,
may you be blessed for the gift of the martyr Laurence
faithful witness of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Blessed Trinity
we praise you and we glorify you for the gift of the Jubilee;
make it for us a time of joy and conversion.
marked in the sign of the blood of the martyr Laurence
silent and living witness of the power of God,
we give you our heart
that it may also be a witness of the beauty
of the Christian faith and of the Heavenly Kingdom
which abides in each and every one of us.
Amen

Prayer for the Attainment
Of Plenary Indulgence
Creed of the Apostles
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and
earth;
and in Jesus Christ, his only Son Our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was
buried.
He descended into Hell; the third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into Heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God, the
Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and
the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the
communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of
the body and life everlasting.
Amen.
Our Father...
Hail Mary...
Prayer for the Supreme
Pontiff
O God who in the plan of your eternal wisdom
have built your Church on the rock of the apostle Peter,
head of the apostolic college,
protect and sustain our Holy Father Pope Francis;
You who have chosen him as the successor of Peter,
make him for your people the visible principle and foundation
of the unity of faith and communion in love.
We ask this through Christ Our Lord.
Amen.
